We are looking for a curious and experienced project engineer. You will be offered a position at Emtunga Works AB with the task of working as a consultant for the company's clients. The role as a hired consultant offers a flexible working method with the opportunity to work at one of our offices as well as on-site with clients.

Your main responsibilities and tasks as a project engineer:

As a project engineer, you will primarily work in multifunctional project teams where you will collaborate closely with customers, partners, classification societies, authorities, suppliers, and colleagues, often serving as the link between different parties.

The role mainly includes the following responsibilities and tasks:

• Ensure that necessary coordination has taken place between disciplines before construction documents / request for proposals are delivered to Production or Purchasing

• If necessary, develop project-specific routines for how coordination should be performed (3D models/documents)

• Create and manage any 3D models for coordination (Navisworks). This also includes 3D models from suppliers and clients

• Develop rules for volume coordination and prioritization in the 3D model

• Ensure that information exchange between disciplines occurs according to established procedures/process maps in the daily volume coordination work

• Lead construction coordination through coordination meetings (both internal and external meetings)

• Prepare manufacturing documents, installation documents, calculations, and specifications according to applicable standards

• Design and create construction drawings in CAD/REVIT

• Develop project documents to ensure they technically follow the contract as well as requirements and guidelines

• Conduct technical delivery and manufacturing control

Your qualifications:

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have a relevant education, preferably with several years of practical experience in construction. You have worked for several years in similar positions as an engineer. You should be able to express yourself well in writing and speaking in both Swedish and English.
